The short version: I collect as little as possible, I don't sell anything to anyone, and you can ask me to delete it at any time.

Who is responsible

This site is run by Georgina Durcan, a sole trader based in Greystones, Co. Wicklow, Ireland, trading as Georgie Durcan. I am the data controller, which means decisions about your information are mine, and questions about it come to me: hello@georgiedurcan.com.

What I collect, and why

If you book a session — your name, email and whatever you tell me when booking. Bookings are handled by Acuity Scheduling, so your details are stored on their systems as well as mine. I need this to hold the appointment and to contact you about it.

If you join the mailing list — your first name and email address, stored with Flodesk, who send the emails on my behalf. You can unsubscribe from any email, and I will not add you without your asking.

If you email me — whatever is in your message. I keep correspondence so I can remember our conversations, which matters in this kind of work.

I do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing. The only companies who see it are the ones above, who process it on my behalf so the site and my practice can function.

Sessions are confidential

What you tell me in a session stays between us. The only exceptions are where I am legally obliged to disclose something, or where there is a serious risk to your safety or someone else's.

How long I keep it

Booking and correspondence records for as long as you are a client and for a period afterwards, partly because tax records must be kept. Mailing list details until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or object to how I am using it. Write to hello@georgiedurcan.com and I will respond within a month. If you are unhappy with how I have handled it, you can complain to Ireland's Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

This website

The site itself sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Pages that embed the booking calendar load it from Acuity, who may set their own — their privacy policy covers that.
