Another Way
A guide out of the darkness and into the light — a step-by-step roadmap from pain to peace, and from self-abandonment to self-trust.

I’ve been doing this for over twenty years.
I know how to sit with someone in the worst week of their life without flinching. I can listen without judgment while I tune into what your soul needs you to know.
People call me a soul coach. In the press I’ve been called an energy healer, a life coach, and an intuitive.
I channel a high, loving Divine voice and wisdom from somewhere the mind can’t reach but the heart feels.
My journey
I was nineteen when I ended up in a psychiatric hospital in Ireland. It was 1997. I was the youngest person on the ward.
I’d had a difficult childhood, and by then I was in more pain than I could carry. I spent two months there on medication, and when I didn’t improve enough to be signed off as normal, they gave me twelve rounds of shock therapy over two months. By the end of it there wasn’t much of me left.
Here’s the part I didn’t understand until much later. All the way through it, I was already doing this work. I was hearing a voice. A clear and loving voice. I was picking things up about the nurses and the other patients (things I had no way of knowing) and when I told them, they were stunned. I wanted to put my hands where they were hurting. And underneath everything else there was a calm presence telling me I wasn’t broken, that I’d survive this, and that I’d use it to help other people.

“Nobody in that building had a name for that except illness.”

One night I prayed on my knees until I had nothing left. I woke a few hours later and the voice was completely clear. It told me to get up and leave, that I’d received everything I needed there, and that my healing would start the moment I walked out.
I was packed before the morning rounds. The nurses laughed at me. The doctor told me I couldn’t be stopped but that I’d be back, and then he looked at me and said: “The problem with you is you know too much.”
I’ve never forgotten it. He meant it as a warning. I took it as the confirmation I’d been waiting for.
I went to friends in Cork and started again from there.
I’ve written about all of it in my book, Another Way: A guide out of the darkness into the light.
They were called mná feasa — women of knowledge — or simply the wise woman of the parish. People went to them in moments of struggle, when they needed support or clarity and couldn’t find it anywhere else.

I had all of this long before any of the training. I qualified as a business and life coach, and I studied everything else I could get into.
For a long time I kept the two separate. The coaching was what I told people I did, and the rest happened quietly alongside it.
They work better together. The training gave me structure and a way to hold a conversation properly. What comes through gives me the rest.

I was born in Greystones, a small coastal town in Co. Wicklow, on the east coast of Ireland.
My mother left when I was five and I found my way back.
I live here now, with my husband Sean and our twins. Twins that remind me everyday of miracles after years of infertility.
I’ve seen miracles in my own life and I’m passionate in helping others bring in their own miracles.
Over twenty years in.
Thousands of clients across Europe, Canada and the US.
I’m blessed and grateful to be able to do this work.
